Announcements

It is a privilege and, more importantly, my pleasure to share with you my love of the greatest game ever played.  And as love has no boundaries, neither will this blog.  We will cover all facets of the game, from its rich and colorful stories to its infinite empire of statistics to the physics of the break in the breaking ball.  We will cover everything from baseball news to fantasy baseball to baseball in the movies, literature, and folklore.  We will cover baseball from the ivy-covered edifice of Wrigley Field to the Yomiuri Giants’ Tokyo Dome to the dirt, chainlink fence, and innocence of every Little League field.  It may at times seem daunting as there is almost as much to baseball as there is to life.  But as a great lover of baseball, Socrates, once said, “A life unexamined is a life not worth living.”
