While many Milwaukee fans are looking for the team to add a starter or another bat, the Brewers family at least appears set to grow in the broadcast booth.
MLB.com is reporting that the search for Hall of Famer Bob Uecker’s companion color man is down to one: Chicago’s Cory Povus.
The team plays its first Cactus League game on February 25th, so the official decision should come soon.
Uecker’s former partner, Jim Powell, will be joining former Brewer Don Sutton in Atlanta’s broadcast booth.
